The Japanese Reader.

This was taken during my flight to Kuala Lumpur via Air Asia airlines. Due to some problems, my mom and  I were seated separately from each other, and I was seated in between two women. I was minding my own business when I noticed the passenger beside me reading an unfamiliar type of book...from the form of the letters I knew it had to be Japanese calligraphy. She was so engrossed in the novel she didn't even realize I was taking 2 to 3 photos of her....trying my best to capture her without disturbing her concentration. Best thing about this trip is how in the end, the Japanese tourist & I had a good talk about each other and our lives and even the earthquake and nuclear problems in Japan. I need to travel alone more often. :)

  5. @Missxuroxy: Yup, I used adobe photoshop 3 to play with the colours, in my opinion a semi dslr is good if youre on the go a and prefer comfort because theyre easier to carry around, the quality is of course good but if you prioritize the focus, the burst mode and the bokeh in the photos then its not good enough to use. but if youre more to a point and shoot person then yes its is, hope that helps! :)
