The Japanese Reader.

This was taken during my flight to Kuala Lumpur via Air Asia airlines. Due to some problems, my mom and  I were seated separately from each other, and I was seated in between two women. I was minding my own business when I noticed the passenger beside me reading an unfamiliar type of book...from the form of the letters I knew it had to be Japanese calligraphy. She was so engrossed in the novel she didn't even realize I was taking 2 to 3 photos of her....trying my best to capture her without disturbing her concentration. Best thing about this trip is how in the end, the Japanese tourist & I had a good talk about each other and our lives and even the earthquake and nuclear problems in Japan. I need to travel alone more often. :)

Lemur.

Yup. That's the name of my cat. We call him that because of his long and ring-shaped tail.  He may be a male but his voice is so much more feminine and soothing than my female cat ( sorry Kimmy) This was taken last year I think...before he gained all the scars on his face due to his fighting with other males after his puberty phase. If ya think about it...he still sounds feminine after his puberty phase. hahahaha.

Farah.

One of my closest friends :) She's always there to listen and talk to. Its a shame we're now one ocean away. We still do keep in touch often, but not having her in person kinda feels lonely...well, lonelier than usual. :P Taken on the beach near Yayasan Sabah, Likas.

Your Kodak Moment.

That is Lily and Sherma :) They're two of the few new members who tagged along to our club outing in Tanjung Aru Beach and Resort. We were done with out lunch and they we're standing near the porch having their cam-whoring moments when I decided to snap their happy hour ;)

Smile For Lily!

This is Lily (real name won't be shown) taken during our first club outing with new members (including her) at Hotel Shangri La and Tanjung Aru Beach at Kota Kinabalu. This photo was also taken during our lunch break at a restaurant in Tg.Aru Beach. Unfortunately for my work I could not be active in Photography (other than the reason that my sister abducted my camera to Melaka T___T )

About Last Night.

This is during our (Nadine & I) private photoshoot in The Sabah Museum. Unfortunately they didn't allow me to take pictures in the museum itself, but fortunately for us we were able to do so in the Museum Toilet! lol So yeah, this was shot in the toilet, the lighting itself is very good and all clothes & Jewelry belongs to Nadine & I. Don't worry, the cigarette is a mere prop :)

Burlesque.

During a small private photoshoot in my room. At first we wanted to do a normal studio shoot but suddenly we had an inspiration to do a photoshoot in the dark, with only a flashlight as our lighting source. Borrowed the net from my sister. Model is Nadine.

Smells Like Teen Spirit.

This was taken during my one month holiday to the United States. We visited the EMP (Experience Music Project) Museum and came across such an amazing and awesome collection of genuine and raw music history, the location is in Seattle,Washington and it is the birth place of musical legends such as Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana. This was shot in the museum itself. My sister is that person in the picture. It was actually the exit part of the museum but they didn't allowed me to take any pictures ( at that time I thought it was okay to since we were already at the exit route). Luckily I managed to get this one shot before I placed my camera away :p My cousin told me that this picture showed a somewhat 'Andy Warhol' vibe to it. Must've been the colours then. :)

Dusk.

During our club trip to Kuala Penyu (Turtle Bay). Those grasses were all over my clothes by the time I've finished taking pictures of her. Damn I felt itchy.

Back To The Future, Gramps!

This is my grandpa (not directly, he's my grandma's brother (dad's side)) He was sleeping when I played with my 3D glasses I got for free with a purchase of a magazine. (Oxygen Magazine) When he woke up, I asked him to volunteer as a model for the 3D glasses. he happily said okay! :D He's always known as the easy going and humorous one in our family. And he's certainly my best grandpa (since he helped me 'stole' my dad's drum set from his office) :p (of course my dad knew once he came home, I've ask him so many times to but he was busy, so I had to bring the drum set home myself) but of course, with the help of my partner-in-crime, my grandpa. :D

My Emancipation.

I didn't have anything to do most of the time I've finished class so I thought I'd give my friend a call. Seems like she wasn't busy too , and also the fact that we had arranged lots of photoshoot together but never had the time to finish them all (still haven't done some though). This one was a photoshoot in her room, which had very good lighting. (which is one of the photoshoot we lists out, successfully done in about 2 days.) The hair rollers , make-upand the kimono she wears all belongs to her.

Why The Hesitation?

One of the new members in my Uni's Photography Club. Taken during our outing to Tanjung Aru Beach. She has a great sense of fashion style I can tell you that. (The Ray Ban is enough to explain). She had her own DSLR, so I supposed she was a bit camera shy since she's more comfortable behind the lens.

5 Bestari 2008 Class Group Photo in Black & White.

It was about two days before our final major exam, SPM in 2008 that I called out to all my classmates, have each of them sit down one-by-one behind a plain wall and capture the last smile they will show in our very own classroom as all of us will sit for the exam, then head off to our own new destinations in life. Senior life was bittersweet for me. Eventhough I never focused on my studies, I still managed to have fun with my friends and during Co-curricular activities and enjoy what is left of my last year in school.

It was the year I will never forget.
